The Lemur currently exists in 35 species which are still evolving. The existant species are smaller than their ice-age ancestors and are found in all shapes and sizes. There is the tiny Brown Lemur, the Blue Lemur, the Possum-like Lemur and the Aye-aye. There is the Bamboo lemur, the Eastern lesser bamboo lemur,the Lac Aloatra bamboo lemurs and the Black lemur. There is the Common black lemur, the Blue-eyed lemur and the Collared lemur, the Red-fronted lemur and Sanford's lemur. There is the White-fronted lemur, the Crowned lemur, the Mongoose lemur, and the Red-bellied lemur. There is the Ringtail lemur, the Black and White Ruffed Lemur,the Red Ruffed Lemurs the Coquerel's Sifaka, the Golden Crowned Sifaka, the Diademed Sifaka, the Greater Mouse lemur, the Lesser Mouse lemur and the Fat-tailed Dwarf lemur.
