Mitosis: His side of the story.....

What happened is that I devide the cell at it's nucleus where the chromosomes are devided into two identical sets. I allow the number of cells to be changes with out changing the information in the DNA. I think my role in this relationship is more importaint because I help make new cells.

He thinks his job is stressful!! HAH!! What I do is the process of nuclear division that reduces the number of chromosomes by half. This process is involved in sexual reproduction. In animals meiosis occurs when in haploid egg cells and haploid sperm cells. A haploid is a cell with only one chromosome. In sexual reproduction the two sets of chromosomes are combined to make a full set that is suitable for a person.
