Upcoming Gigs: None as of yet, but we'll keep you posted!
Previous Gigs: 10/29/00- We will be playing at the Token Lounge tonight! Worth and Punk'n Pie will also be there. Doors open at 7, and we have no idea what the cover is. This will be Punk'n Pie's first gig, and according to James, their drummer, they're really good. This caused James to get called out by numerous bands (including Five Finger Discount) because we all think he is being "Cockey". Come see what they sound like, and judge for yourself. 10/15/00- CLUTCH FEST! Show starts at 12:00 and goes all night long! Be there at 3:00 to see your favorite punk band (Five finger discount, of course!) Get your tickets from us! On a more punk note- Fuck ROR concerts (the organizers of the show) because even though it's battle of the bands the winner is not the one that sounds the best, but the band that makes the the most money (sells the most tickets) 10/14/00- Yeah, another neutral zone show.... but this will be a cool one! We have a bunch of new songs, and are gonna rock! Show starts at 8:00, and the cover is $4. an ananonimus band and Worth are going to be playing with us. 10/13/00- We have a show at the Bean Machine tonight. The show starts at 7:00, and the cover is $6. Sorry, we know this isn't the punk price but the Bean Machine staff wouldn't let us change it. 8/22/00- The Token lounge: This was our first show at the Token Lounge, and it kicked! Unlike anywhere in Ann Arbor this was a sweet place to play! Even though the Slayer people were kinda being asses to us punk type it was still fun. 7/15/00- Mike's birthday show! We played a short set in Buhr pool house. 7/1/00- This was an interesting show.... We played with Love God, and TDX at the Neutral Zone. Even though our bassist wasn't able to make it to this one Stan's friend Beavis (aka Sean) filled in for her.
6/16/00- We also have a show at the Neutral Zone tonight at 6pm. The cover is five bucks. 5/27/00- So we lied, Mike just couldn't stand the temptation of another gig. This one is at Mr. Mug's Hideout in ypsi. It's located on 217/211 Michigan ave. by the buss station and Deja Vu. The Thrones, Brick, and Folie are gonna be there as well. The show starts at 7:30, and there's five bucks cover. As always there will be plenty of free pop, and we should have some stickers to give out to our loyal fans that come all the way to ypsi to see us. 4/15/00- CHEAP THREE DOLLARS!!! We just made this one official! After five months and many unseen revisions of the band we are back. This is going to be the best gig the Neutral Zone has ever had. We will be playing with Deity, an anonymous band, and undecided. The show starts at 8pm, and there is a three dollar cover. That's right, we're not gonna try and rip you off like every one else does! Neutral zone members (aka: dorks) only pay two bucks. There will be double the free soda and double the hype! This will hopefully be 5 Finger Discounts last gig at the Neutral Zone for a while. And yes, we do plan on playing other places (we're not that lame). 11/5/99- This flyer is the flyer of our first Commstock Fundraiser. Whoop-T-Do!! Phliud Philosophy didn't play, though. It was really $4 cover, and Bushido, Villanova Junction also played. They got in at the last minute. It was a good show, we only had 2 cans of surge explode while we were throwing them. It's all because Stan has no aim (Ravioli). The Neutral Zone got pissed and Greg Burns physically abused Mike because of the sticky mess. -Mike 7/16/99- The whole crew was at this show! This was one of our many Neutral Zone shows. We would like to state that even though the Neutral Zone is the "teen hang out" of Ann Arbor, it's not cool. The bands that play there are cool, though. The one exception is the "Kase 3" or any bands associated with the Marcum family. June of '99- Some time in June or July of 1999 we played a show at TC's in Wayne. Not to be confused with TC's Speak Easy. We played like shit, but it was our best show. TC's is full of dirty gutter punks and when the Surge was passed out (this is when the tradition was started) the fans shook them up and sprayed each other and then broke out into a mosh pit of love as dirty gutter punks slipped to and fro. TC's is no longer a punk hangout (sellouts) because the place got too banged up. For some reason they stopped having punk bands shortly after we played there..... |
